Exposition is when the characters, setting, etc is being introduced. rising action are is the main events (basically what happens) in the story up to the climax which is the highest point of tension/interest. falling action is basically the after math of the climax, and denouement is basically the resolution of the story. Where the character kind of reflects on the events that happened.

Answer:

When a character overcomes several obstacles on the way to his or her journey's end, this is known as the rising action.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rising action in a story is the strongest part of the reading as it includes a series of events, incidents, and decisions that create many emotions and distress on the reader since they ignore what the outcome is going to be but it is sort of exciting to see how the character get to their goal after all the path they have been through, it leads to the climax.
