the associative property allows you to move around parenthasees when adding or multiplying

one form is this:

a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c

that's the addition form

the other one is the multiplication form

a(bc)=(ab)c

we see our options are all addition

1st

nope, that's distributive of -1

2nd

that is zero addition property

3rd,

yep, we are adding a -8

4th

that's commutative property, basically a+b=b+a

answer is 3rd option: (-8+10)+4=-8+(10+4)

C) should be your answer

associative property means that no matter where the parenthesis is placed, it will not affect the outcome
