Explain the religion factors that led to the crusades?

It's more an economical factor in my point of view. in the way as the Church would gain wealth and fame if they would have not been driven out of the holy land.the benfits would be the more trade routes for the merchant on land an sea.and the taxes the Christians could put on the Muslim faith.plus imagine the vendors of some oif the goods that the western country did not have or was very limited.
