An organism has an inversion in one homologue of a chromosome pair. When its germ cells undergo meiosis, how many of its gametes will also carry the inversion (assume crossing over does NOT occur)?

Germ cells undergo meiosis to produce gametes. This means that the daughter cells will contain one homologe of a chromosome pair. That means 50% of gametes will carry the inversion.
