We can use the distributive property inside the brackets to get 18 - 2[x + x -5]. Next, we combine like terms to get 18 - 2[2x - 5]. Again, we use the distributive property to get 18 - 4x + 10, which when simplified even further, gives us 28 - 4x, or -4x + 28. Therefore, the answer to your query is -4x + 28. Hope my answer has come of assistance to you and have a great day!
