Answer:

The North States was based on industrial. Large cotton textile industries were built to produce cloth, manufacturing Industry was of ironwork, production of weapons and Railways. The North was built with big cities, trading centre, roads, railways, canals. Society was more educational then religion.

The South was more of farms and plantations where the majority of the population lived. They practised slavery, Southern states were unified with the slavery issue as they were depended on it. The economy was based on agriculture, they grew cash crops. South was depended on the steamship. Education was only for the children of the planters not for the slaves.
