The slope-intercept form is :
y=ax+b so all you have to do is solve for y

^(-)6x+9y=54 Equation

9y=6x+54 Add 6x to both sides

y= (2)/(3)x+6 Divide by 9 on both sides

Therefore the linear function is y=2/3x+6

9y = 6x + 54
divide through by 9:-
y = 6/9y + 54/9

y = 2/3 x + 6 <---- answer
