the answer is 20% = .20
$80 x .2 = $16
$80-$16 = $64

Since ten percent of 80 is 8 dollars, you can simply multiply 8x2, and arrive at the correct discount value of 16 dollars. Subtract 16 from 80 and arrive at the final price of $64.00
