The answer would be D, remember that hyphens are used to link two phrases to turn them into one conjoined

Working through the answers we can easily the correct usage of hyphen in the sentence. Hyphen has to be used in a way that its usage place adds logic to the sentence. In all the answers, except the last one the usage is incorrect. Red-tailed cannot be used separately. Therefore, the correct answer is the last one.
