Communication is the act of sending and receiving messages. Sometimes messages are communicated verbally, with words, or nonverbaly, with body language. When communication is effective, the intended message is received. When communication is ineffective, messages are unclear. Describe a time when you had difficulty communicating a message. Why was the intended message not received properly?

Sometimes when you speak with short words or in other words abbreviations the person you are talking to may miss interpret what the meaning of the short word or abbreviations really mean.

For me, there has been many times when I talk to someone who doesn't have the same level of understanding it can get awkward and misinterpreted. For example, if I'm talking to someone and we don't have the same level of understanding, there may be some miscommunication because we tend to interpret things differently in our head or maybe it's because they have a different mindset than you.

Also, when I'm communicating with someone online I find that conveying sarcasm can be difficult because the other persons interprets the context different. For example, if someone ask me something and I say the opposite, it was suppose to be meant as sarcasm. But, the other person just tends to see or read things differently.
