The correct answer is A. increased clarity of thought.

In the short term users will start to experience an increased clarity of thought because they are no longer being influenced by a drug that is altering their state of mind. Unfortunately though once the withdrawal from the drug starts to kick in the user will have no sense of clarity whatsoever and will more than likely be thinking of nothing else apart from using the drug again.
