Through my homework, I was able to get the equations properly, however I am not being able to solve for the variables properly.

\begin{gathered} 2L+2w=292 \\ \Rightarrow L+W=146----------------------------(1) \\ L-W=36------------------------------(2) \\ ------------------------------------------------ \\ \text{equ}(1)\text{ + equ(2):} \\ 2L=182 \\ \Rightarrow L\text{ =91} \\ \end{gathered}

substituting the value of L into equation (2) we have:

91-W=36

Therefore

W=91-36=55
