How do you graph y=4x-2?

You start at negative two on the X-axis (left and right), that is your starting point, then you go up four squares on the graph and go one square right. Make a point. You go up and right because 4 is positive. From that point you go up four and right one again, repeat this process a few times. Then start at negative two again and go down 4 and left one. This is still positive correlation (going positive), but is just extending the line/graph. Your line should look like mine in the photo.

you have to cancel everything out but the x so get the 2 to make the 4 into a 0
