16 + 4x = 10 + 14
16 + 4x = 24
4x = 24 - 16
4x = 8
x = 8/4
x = 2

so now you plug in what x is, which is 2, into "8x"

8x = 8 × 2
8x = 16

so your answer is 16!

hope this helps, God bless!
