How are women MOST important to the survival of the Igbo culture and traditions? Select all that apply. They educate the children by telling them folktales and having the children tell them folktales in return. They do most of the household chores. They help with the yam crops and other farming tasks. They are artistic and paint their bodies and their children’s bodies with designs.

Women are MOST important to the survival of the Igbo culture and traditions because they do most of the household chores and they help with the yam crops and other farming tasks. Without women to help take care of such tasks, the Igbo people would not have been able to develop the capabilities that they did, such as their calendar, banking system and strategic betting game called Okwe.
