A cell checkpoint is a part of the cell cycle of a eukaryotic cell. The cell consider hints coming from inside and outside of the cell and choose whether to go with a division or not. In cancer, cells have abnormal cell cycle checkpoints. These checkpoints aid to carry responses of the immune system to be capable or kill cancer cells.
