Each person needs to run 6 11/20 miles to divide the distance up equally. (You just divide 131/5 by 4, because that's how many people are going to run it).

Answer:

6.55 miles to run

Explanation:

A distance of marathon is =
(131)/(5) miles long.

or
26(1)/(5) miles

If four people divide up the distance equally.

To calculate the distance each person need to run we will divide
(131)/(5) by 4

=
((131)/(5) )/(4)

=
(131)/(5) ×
(1)/(4)

=
(131)/(20)

=
6(11)/(20)

= 6.55 miles

each 4 person need 6.55 miles to run.
