Mrs Delgado needs to buy 160 begonias. One plant costs $2. One flat with 20 plants cost $30. How many dollars will she save if she buys them by flat instead of separately?

$2 x 160 = $320 if Mrs Delgado wants to buy individual plant.

160 divided by 20 = 8 Mrs Delgado can buy 8 flats

8 x $30 = $240

How much she saves = $320 - $240 = $80
Mrs Delgado saves $80 if she buys it from flat than separately
