Hello there! An equation in slope-intercept form is y = mx + b, where “m” is the slope and “b” is the y-intercept. y and x are the variable that remain without a number. In this case, the equation of this would be y = 5/6x + 8.

slope = 5/6
y-intercept = 8
y = mx + b
y = 5/6x + 8 substitute the given values for m and b
hope this helped, God bless!
