Why was the Industrial Revolution a major agent of change for the United States and the world?

It involved the change from machine power to human power.
It produced new innovations and technologies.
It brought changes to industry, transportation, and communication.
It created changes that greatly improved the quality of life for individuals.

The Industrial revolution made Great Britian and the United States a world power, because they bagan to enjoy advancements in the techology and a better quality of life. The new advances and discoveries transformed the United States from an agricultural nation in to a major industrial power. Great Britain and the United states possessed favorable conditions for the growth of industry. The United States had a strong work force and alot of natural resoures: Oil kown as "Black gold", Coal, Iron ore, and Steel. The United States used Kerosene fuel and Gasoline for the oil, Coal and Iron ore to make steel, and used Steel form the coal and iron ore to make Bridges, Skyscrapers, and Work buildings. Steel also replaced Iron rails on railroads and used Steel rails. The United states produces the world with the natural resoures they need.
