x = -b +- √b² - 4ac/ 2a in general, given ax² + bx + c = 0

3x² - 2x + 1 = 0 in this case, a = 3, b = -2, c = 1

x = 2 +- √(-2)² - 4(3)(1) / 2(3)

x = 2 +- 2√2i / 6

simply solutions;

x = 1+-√2i / 3

hope this helped, God bless!
