In the 1800 how long did it take for ships to travel across Atlantic ocean

Ships in those days depended on sails to get around. That being said, they'd usually take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks.

In the early 19th century sailing ships took about six weeks to cross the Atlantic. With adverse winds or bad weather the journey could take as long as fourteen weeks. i hope this helps
