Given data:

Length;

L=6\text{ cm}

Pitch;

p=0.3\text{ cm}

The velocity ratio is given as,

VR=(2\pi L)/(p)

Substituting all known values,

\begin{gathered} VR=\frac{2\pi*(6\text{ cm})}{(0.3\text{ cm})} \\ =40\pi \\ =40*(22)/(7) \\ \approx125.71 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the velocity ratio of a screw jack is 40π or 125.71.
