Let

x-----> the original price of the calculator

y-----> the original price of the binder

we know that

15\%= (15)/(100)=0.15

(x+y)(1-0.15)=107.27

(x+y)(0.85)=107.27 -----> equation A

y=6.20 -----> equation B

substitute the value of y in the equation A and solve for x

(x+6.20)(0.85)=107.27

(x+6.20)=(107.27/0.85)

x=(107.27/0.85)-6.20

x=126.20-6.20

x=\$120

therefore

the answer is

the original price of the calculator is
\$120
