Who replaced the lowell mill workers when they refused in the 1830s to work until conditions improved?

Irish immigrants replaced the Lowell Mill Workers in 1937. The Lowell Mill works had went on strike three years prior due to a depression that caused a sharp decline in wages, and were successful. However, in 1937, there was a true drop in wages, and a strike did not succeed. They were then replaced by the Irish biddies.
