13x-y=13
1.)
13x + (-1y) = 13
(subtract -1y on both sides)
13x = 13 + 1y
(divide both sides by 13)
(13 and 13 on both sides should cancel out each other)
x = 1y or x = y

2.)
13x + (-1y) = 13
(subtract 13x on both sides)
-1y = 13-13x
(divide both sides by -1)
y = -13-13x

(Honestly i do not know for sure if the first two are right, but the teacher should definitely give you points for trying it if you try the way i did. DO NOT LEAVE ANSWERS BLANK)

Sorry. ☻
