Use your periodic table of elements. Take any element of your choosing (from period 4 or above) and answer the following questions:

( I choose silicon)
What is the element's name and symbol? Is it a metal, nonmetal, or metalloid? Which family does it belong to? How many protons, neutrons, and electrons does its neutral atom have?
Thanks!

Silicon's element name is Silicon. Silicon's symbol is "Si" Silicon is a metalloid. Silicon would belong in the Semi-Conductor's family. 14 Protons, 14 Neutrons and 14 Electrons (if the silicon element is neutral and the most common of it's atom.)
