With an equation like this. you will try to rewrite it in slope-intercept form:y=mx+b. Therefore you will start by trying to get y by itself.
Add x to both sides to get -2y=x-10.
Then proceed to divide both sides by -2 to get y=-1/2x+(-10/-5)
Two negatives dividing will result in a positive number.
Thus, your slope intercept will be y=-1/2x+5
Three points can be (0,5), (1,9/2), and (2,4).
