Let B = bags that can be made

B = 6 ÷ 3/4

B = 6 • 4/3

B = 24/3

B = 8

Answer:

Number of bags Miranda makes equals:

8

Explanation:

Miranda buys 6 pounds of nuts.

She puts 3/4 pound in each bag

Let she makes x bags

then total nuts in x bags=
(3)/(4)x

also total nuts must be equal to 6

i.e.
(3)/(4)x=6

Multiplying both sides by 4, we get

3x=24

Dividing both sides by 3, we get

x=8

Hence, number of bags Miranda makes equals:

8
