First of all, notice the biggest exponent (or degree) in the equation, which is 2. You will know that the this type of equation would be a quadratic equation and the shape of the graph will be parabolic.
Describe the graph; This graph will have a maximum point (if you see negative a value, the shape of parabola is down like a frown <-- use this to remember the shape), with the x coordinates being between the roots. There will be no roots for this graph ( b²-4ac --> (1)²-4(-2)(-1) = -7). The graph will not be touching the x-axis.
There are no real zeros to this graph since the discriminant is a negative number. I have attached a graph below to show this equation.
