King Tutankhamun’s tomb was found in the Valley of the Kings. The tomb had never been plundered and contained incredible riches untouched since they had been left. The body of the King was encased in three coffins which fit inside one another. The innermost coffin made of 240 pounds of gold.

I believe it was a British person who found it with a worker of his, and they found it in The Valley Of The Kings in Egypt. It was with like 3 other mummified bodies and the cases where lined with gold.
