This is an example of EXPERIMENTAL MARKETING RESEARCH.

In experimental marketing research approach, the researcher is an active participant in the research as he/she is actually involved in the research work. In this approach one variable called as experimental variable can be manipulated while its effect on other variable known as dependent variable is studied.
