Were there any alternatives to the Japanese internment camps used in WW2? What else could the government have done to ease fears without incarcerating so many people?

Answer:

Yes the government did think of other ways to keep Japanese away from American so they would not cause harm and still be free. They put Japanese in other countries where it would only house them, so it was mostly a Japanese country. The government would have found another way to punish them instead of incarcerating them to where they would die of there crimes, showing the US what happens if you stepped out of line, bring fear to many.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope that helps
