To find area of a circle, one must perform the equation "pi(r)^2" we have all information but the radius which has become inclusive in the question. To draw out the radius, all you gotta do is defuse 64 into its square root-8. The radius is 8.

we know that

The area of the circle is equal to

A=\pi r^(2)

where

r is the radius of the circle

In this problem we have

A=64\pi \ ft^(2)

substitute in the formula and solve for r

64\pi=\pi r^(2)

Simplify

64=r^(2)

Square root both sides

r=8\ ft

therefore

the answer is

The value of r is
8\ ft
