Through my research I found questions similar to this with matching answers, and they are:

A)inability of authors to know every cause and consequence of every story.
B)biases, perspectives, beliefs, and a variety of other differences.
C)history being told by one person at a time
D)no one being totally accurate, as hard as we try.

Among those answers, the best one would be C) or the third option.
