THe slope of the graph which is given is m=4/5. The slope of the line perpendicular to this line will have a slope

m_(0) = (-1)/(m)

m_(0) = -1 / (4)/(5) = - (5)/(4)
Use the point-slope equation to write an equation of the line perpendicular to given:

y - y_(0) = m(x- x_(0) )
We have a point (-4, 4). Plug in instead of
x_(0) , y_(0):

y - 4 = - (5)/(4) (x+4) \\ y = - (5)/(4) x -1
This is the final equation.
