lets convert all the fractions to decimals and then add. :)
apples- 1.5
strawberries- 0.75
grapes- 0.50
oranges- 1.75
pears- 1.25
add all these together and you get 5.75 pounds of fruit in total
if you desire to have your answer as a fraction the fraction for 5.75 would be 5 75/100 simplified to 5 3/4
Your answer is 5.75 or 5 3/4
