NEED ANSWER ASAP PLEASE!!!!

1). In terms of both volume and density, explain what happens to water when it changes to ice.



2). You are given an unknown sample of a substance. You are informed by your teacher the sample is a metal. Describe at least 2 characteristics ALL metals should display.

What happens to water when it becomes ice? Answer: the water level does NOT change even if it does melt, deposition is the term used when water liquid becomes solid ice, and also the water molecules DECREASE/LOWER speed and join in straight positions.

2) Answer: Conductors of both electrical and heat.
