How do I start my supporting sentences for my introduction paragraph ?

This is usually how I write an introduction paragraph for an informative:

**Hook-grab the attention of your reader (question, quote, statistic)

** Background information 1-2 sentences per person (or topic) that you’ll talk about

** Thesis- answering the prompt and telling your reader what the informative essay will be about

Oh, by the way, a supporting sentence is a sentence with information that supports a main idea or claim. (It is pretty much like the "background information") I would start that by giving one sentence about what each paragraph in your essay is going to be about. For example, if the second paragraph is about polar bears then I would put on sentence introducing polar bears. If the third paragraph is about their cubs, I would put a sentence introducing cubs, etc... I hope this makes sense!
