Given that each of the brick is
(2)/(3) ft tall and the finished stack of bricks is
4(2)/(3) ft tall.

Let the number of bricks in the stack be x, then

(2)/(3) x=4 (2)/(3) = (14)/(3) \\ \\ \Rightarrow x= ( (14)/(3) )/( (2)/(3) ) = (14)/(3) * (3)/(2) \\ \\ = (14)/(2) =7

Therefore, 7 bricks will go in the stack.
