Why do you think older people are less susceptible to conformity?

Since they are so old, the new generation's ideas are incredibly different to what they were taught to believe and as of such, they think that it's different in a bad way

Older people are less susceptible to compliance, because they had their past experience and modeling of life according to the old model, while the youth prefers a new modern way of life, a society of mass consumption. The ัriteria for the social development of young people are increasingly acquiring and enhancing their own social status and achieving social maturity.
