The correct answer is A.  When dealing with an absolute value inequality, you want to flip the positive to a negative sign, as well as flip the inequality sign.

Answer:

a.

Explanation:

|x+2|>16

x+2>16 or x+2<-16

So, tecnically a and b are incorrect, but if you change the "and" to "or" the correct would be a.
