The problems that are caused by solid waste disposal are the following: finding suitable landfill locations, groundwater pollution, and soil pollution.

That is why the federal, state and local governments have to enforce the proper kind of legislation that stops the pollution of the land. And not only the land as in this case but pollution of air, and pollution of water. Climate change or global warming is creating difficult conditions -weather conditions- that also affect pollution and the conservation of the environment.
