5+5x=-2x+5

Isolate the x. Add 2x to both sides, and subtract 5 from both sides

5 (-5) + 5x (+2x) = -2x (+2x) + 5 (-5)

5x + 2x = 5 - 5

8x = 0

Isolate the x. Divide 8 from both sides

8x/8 = 0/8

x = 0

0 is your answer

hope this helps
