What is the solution set to |2x-3|=7?

X=5 ok so this is the solution bc ur gonna do reverse mathematics so first u start out addig the 3 and the 7 so thats 10 and u rewrite ur equation 2x=10 and then you can divide 10 by 2 which is 5 and that would be ur solution but to double check u can rewrite the whole equation . 2x5-3=7 and it all matches up . hope it helped :)

2x-3=7

add 3 to both sides

2x = 10

divide both sides by 2

x = 10/2

x = 5


since the equation is between 2 lines, which means absolute value x can be both positive and negative,

so the solution set is -5 and 5
