HELP!

What exactly are scales in Music? I still don't understand what they are so I just needed to reassure myself. Please put pictures or any helpful examples.

A scale is basically just a sequence of notes that go according to a certain pitch/frequency. For example, G Major has one sharp, F#, and it applies to every note in the sequence.

G-A-B-C-D-E-F#-G would be an example of a scale.
