First, let's make it so that they share a common denominator.
3/4 x 2/2 = 6/8
So Lucie drank 6/8 of a pint, or 75% of it. 7/8 - 6/8 = 1/8. So there is 1/8 of water left, or 12.5%.

I'm order for them to have the same denominator you need to multiply so:
¾×2=6/8
So she drank 6/8 pints of water
