The primates constitutes of an order within the placental mammals. This clade includes apes, large monkeys and non-human primates such as human beings.

All the primates have large brain relative to the body size. A capuchin monkey's brain will be around three times larger than that of the other animals of the same size. Humans have the largest brain size as compared to that of the other animals.
