The given function is,


f(x)=x+9

Given that g(x) is the reflection of f(x) over y-axis.

The reflection of the point (x, y) across the y-axis is the point (-x,y).

So, in case of reflection over y-axis the sign of only x-coordinate is changed and y-coordinate remains same.

So changing the sign of x in f(x) will yield its reflection over y-axis i.e g(x)

Therefore, g(x) is,
