James needs a test average of 82 or higher to make the honor roll. . There are four tests in the term. His first three test grades were 76, 80, and 84. Which inequality could be used to find what he needs to score on his fourth test, x, in order to make the honor roll?

To calculate the average, add all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. Then you have,

\begin{gathered} (76+89+84+x)/(4)\ge82 \\ \text{Where x is the score of the fourth test} \end{gathered}
